Position: Software Sales Manager – (ERP Functional Analysis | ERPNext | Odoo)
Job description
Key Responsibilities:
1 Sales Strategy & Client Engagement
- Identify, qualify, and acquire new clients for ERPNext, Odoo, EI-Suite, Custom Web & Mobile Application Development and Digital Marketing Services.
- Conduct impactful presentations, product demos, and requirement discussions with senior decision-makers.
- Understand client workflows and prepare Software Requirement Specifications (SRS) and commercial proposals.
- Manage the full sales cycle — from lead prospecting to negotiation and closure — ensuring revenue growth and client satisfaction.
2 Functional & Solution Analysis
- Engage with clients to capture detailed functional and process requirements.
- Participate in wireframing and solution design discussions with the technical and ERP teams.
- Prepare and refine SRS documentation, ensuring clarity and alignment with client expectations.
- Translate business challenges into optimized ERP, EI-Suite or Custom software solutions.
3 Strategic Business Development & Market Expansion
- Establish and nurture high-value business alliances and strategic referral partnerships across sectors that can generate consistent qualified leads.
- Proactively identify new market opportunities and develop data-driven prospect databases for domestic and international outreach.
- Represent the company at industry exhibitions, trade shows, and professional networks to expand brand visibility and sales potential.
4 Team Leadership & Development
- Recruit, mentor, and manage junior and trainee-level sales executives.
- Set and monitor performance goals, ensuring individual and team targets are achieved.
- Conduct ongoing training sessions in presentation skills, proposal writing, and functional requirement gathering.
5 Coordination & Reporting
- Work closely with technical, ERP, and digital marketing teams for seamless project handovers.
- Report regularly on pipeline progress, conversion metrics, and key account status.
- Contribute strategic insights to refine product positioning and go-to-market approaches.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Experience: 5–10 years in ERP / CRM / SaaS / Digital Solutions sales.
- Expertise: Proven experience in ERP functional analysis, SRS preparation, and pre-sales consulting.
- Bonus Skill: Knowledge of Digital Marketing Services (SEO, SEM, Social Media, Branding) and ability to sell them to clients.
- Skills Required:
- Excellent English communication, presentation, and interpersonal
- Deep understanding of business process mapping and ERP workflows.
- Proficiency in proposal creation, quotation drafting, and documentation.
- Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
- Willingness to travel extensively across India, Middle East, and Southeast Asia.
- Education: Graduate in Engineering / Business / Computer Science..
