SOFTWARE SALES EXECUTIVE
Position: Software Sales Executive – ERP Functional Analysis (ERPNext | Odoo | Digital Solutions)
Job description
Key Responsibilities:
1 Client Engagement & Pre-Sales Activities
- Identify, engage, and qualify potential clients for ERPNext, Odoo, EI-Suite, and Digital Marketing Services.
 - Conduct client meetings, product presentations, and demos along with the Sales Manager.
 - Understand client workflows and map them to ERP modules (Sales, Purchase, Accounts, HR, Inventory, etc.).
 - Participate in requirement analysis, functional discussions, and solution scoping.
 - Assist in preparing Software Requirement Specifications (SRS) and functional documentation.
 
2 Proposal & Documentation Support
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and presentations.
 - Coordinate with ERP consultants and developers for feasibility checks and functional clarifications.
 - Maintain organized sales records, documentation, and CRM updates.
 
3 Sales & Follow-Up
- Manage the sales cycle from lead qualification to closure under the supervision of the Software Sales Manager.
 - Follow up with clients regularly through email, calls, and online meetings to ensure engagement and conversion.
 - Support in cross-selling and upselling Digital Marketing Services to existing ERP clients.
 
4 Coordination & Reporting
- Work closely with the Sales Manager and technical teams to ensure smooth communication and project handovers.
 - Prepare weekly and monthly reports on lead progress, pipeline status, and conversion ratios.
 
Desired Candidate Profile
- Experience: 1–3 years in ERP / CRM / SaaS software sales or functional pre-sales.
 - Functional Expertise:
 - Strong understanding of ERPNext or Odoo functional modules and business workflows.
 - Familiarity with business processes (Accounting, HR, Inventory, Sales, Purchase, Projects).
 - Skills Required:
 - Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
 - Experience in client requirement gathering, functional mapping, and documentation.
 - Proficiency in preparing SRS, proposals, and quotations.
 - Interest in Digital Marketing Services sales (SEO, Google Ads, Social Media, etc.) – knowledge in this area is a bonus.
 - Positive, humble, and confident personality suited for client interactions.
 - Willingness to travel across India and abroad for demos and meetings.
 - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Computer Science / Business. MBA preferred.
